 New Server

I have been under the pile of to-dos lately but I am working on getting things moving again. Primary task as of late was the addition of a new server. I got an IBM xSeries 330 from ebay for 47$ after shipping. This machine replaced photon which was an aging and bad cap latent AMD Athlon 2200 system.

The new IBM (well new to me) is a dual pIII system @ 1.4 GHz with 1.5 gigs of ram. It was sold as only having a single 18.2 GB SCSI HD but arrived with a pair of them which are now using Linux software raid1. It is now up and running well after replacing the CMOS battery. Current uptime is 33 days, 11 hours and 52 minutes without a hitch.

More details to include some Slackware installation notes and pics to follow soon.
